{"id":140,"date":"2018-12-27T16:56:35","date_gmt":"2018-12-27T16:56:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/obedienceuk.news\/wordpress\/?p=140"},"modified":"2020-04-08T23:13:15","modified_gmt":"2020-04-08T22:13:15","slug":"last-chance-to-enter-crufts-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/obedienceuk.news\/wordpress\/last-chance-to-enter-crufts-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"LAST CHANCE TO ENTER CRUFTS 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Exhibitors are reminded that postal entries for Crufts close on Monday 7<sup>th<\/sup> January (postmarked) and online entries on Monday 21<sup>st<\/sup> January.<\/p>\n<p>The Gundog group will be shown on Thursday 7<sup>th<\/sup> March; Working and Pastoral on Friday 8<sup>th<\/sup>; Terriers and Hounds on Saturday 9<sup>th<\/sup>; and Utility and Toys on Sunday 10<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time at Crufts, four newly-approved breeds will be competing \u2013 the Braque d\u2019Auvergne, Russian Toy, White Swiss Shepherd Dog and Black and Tan Coonhound. These will be exhibited in the Imported Breed Register classes.<\/p>\n<p>The Obedience Championships for dogs are on Saturday, with bitches on Sunday. Sunday also sees the Agility Championships.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The final of the Kennel Club Vulnerable British and Irish Breeds Competition is on Thursday and the final of the Kennel Club Breeders\u2019 Competition is on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The entry fee for breed classes is \u00a330 per dog, with subsequent entries free. Full details of fees for the Gamekeepers\u2019 classes and Young Kennel Club classes are given in the schedule along with admission prices.<\/p>\n<p>Exhibitors are asked to note that the West car park is no longer part of the NEC site, so all parking will be in either the South or East car parks in which there is ample parking. The price, if booked with dog entry (exhibitors only), is \u00a311 per day; booked in advance via the NEC website, \u00a312 per day; paid on the day (online or at the NEC), \u00a316 per day. These prices are set by the venue.<\/p>\n<p>Tom Mather, Crufts Chairman, said: \u201cCrufts is an absolute must on the canine calendar and looks set to be better than ever. Each year we see more overseas exhibitors competing, so this year will once again be a truly international celebration of dogs.
