It \nis hoped this would ease the burden on some clubs in trying to find both\n judges and stewards from a small pool of people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Amendment to Regulation G30.h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judges\n should whenever possible, provide their own Caller Stewards, but the \nShow Management shall provide any Caller Stewards if necessary. Caller \nand Scribe Stewards used by judges at the show must not work a dog on \nthe same day<s>.<\/s><strong>,<\/strong> <strong>with the exception that \nat a show with 6 scheduled classes or less, caller and scribe stewards \nmay compete in one class, other than the class in which they are \nofficiating, provided that the class has 20 entries or less.&nbsp;Caller and \nscribe stewards taking up this option will be exempt from any running \norder and may compete at a convenient time agreed by the judges \nconcerned.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Deletion struck through. Insertion in bold).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Effective 1 January 2020)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n below regulation has been amended to introduce a more gradual \nqualification for judges leading to their judging the higher classes, in\n order to ensure they had sufficient experience to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amendment to Regulation G32.e. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Judge\u2019s first three appointments for shows must be restricted to Novice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The next three appointments must be up to and including Class A.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Before\n accepting an Open Class C appointment, a Judge must have completed at \nleast a further nine appointments. These must include a minimum of three\n Class A and three Class B appointments. It is the individual\u2019s \nresponsibility to retain proof of their judging appointments.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Insertions in bold)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Effective 1 January 2020)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n below regulation has been amended to give handler an opportunity to \ngain more experience in the lower classes before progressing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amendment to Regulation G(A)6.a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To compete in Pre-Beginners a handler or dog must not have won <strong>two<\/strong> <s>a<\/s> First place<strong>s <\/strong>in\n either Pre-Beginners or Beginners nor gained a third place or above in \nany other Obedience class (Introductory Class excepted).<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>(Insertions in bold. Deletions struck through.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Effective 1 January 2020)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n below regulation has been amended as it is felt that it would be \nhelpful for competitors to see details of timed stays beforehand, \nespecially for those competing with multiple dogs as it would allow them\n to plan their day in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amendment to Regulation G30.g.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where\n timed stays will take place it must be announced in the schedule that \nthey take priority over other tests. The times of such tests to be \npublished at the show and in the catalogue<strong>, if available, and \nmay also be published with running orders. Published stay times must not\n be changed, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of \nthe show management<\/strong>. In the case of Championship Class C stays \nmust not be judged before 12 noon. In all other cases, timed stays must \nnot commence before one hour after the published time for the \ncommencement of judging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Insertions in bold)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Effective 1 January 2020)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n below regulations have been amended to allow for the use of diagonal \nturns in fast pace in Class B and Class C. This will add further scope \nfor judges when setting rounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amendment to Regulation G(C)4.e.(3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Class\n B. In this class at normal and slow pace the only permissible turns are\n turns of 90\u00b0 to the left or right, 180\u00b0 about turns to the right or the\n left and diagonal turns to the right and left. Medium or large circles \nand arcs can be included. At fast-pace the only permissible turns are \nturns of 90\u00b0 to the left or right, <strong>diagonal turns to the right<\/strong> and 180\u00b0 about turns to the right. Medium or large circles and arcs can be included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Insertion in bold)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Effective 1 January 2020)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amendment to Regulation G(C)4.e.(4)(i) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TO:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Class C (i) Permitted turns<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At\n normal and slow pace the permissible turns are 90\u00b0 to the left or \nright, 180\u00b0 about turns to the left or right, diagonal turns to the left\n or right, and circles or arcs.
